Driven by a taste for excellence, for 200 years the Barton family has cultivated the estate's exceptional old vineyard with care and precision. The wines of the estate offer an exuberant nose of black fruits (cherry, blackcurrant), spices, cedar wood and coffee. On the palate, they are concentrated and racy, marked by powerful but very supple tannins, resulting in a superb velvetiness. Several years in the cellar are necessary for this great wine to blossom, with remarkable ageing potential.
