The Cuvée Prestige was produced for the first time in 2007. Only the best grapes are good enough for this, selected from over 100 vineyards. Three quarters are Chardonnay, the rest is Pinot Nero and Pinot Bianco. The base wines are aged separately by variety in barriques. They are complemented by about 20 percent of the best reserve wines. The cuvée is aged on its lees for 28 months. The Franciacorta Cuvée Prestige is characterized by delicate, fresh fruit aromas with exotic notes. An interplay of soft roundness with lively race creates a stimulating tension.
