Brut 2015 from Deutz is an elegant and powerful vintage wine that will be appreciated both as an aperitif and as an accompaniment to a wide range of dishes. This cuvée is a blend of 67% Pinot Noir from the Grands Crus terroirs of Aÿ, Bouzy and Verzenay and the Premier Cru Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, 29% Chardonnay from the Grand Cru terroirs of Avize and Premier Cru de Villeneuve , as well as 4% Pinot Meunier from the Premier Cru terroir of Pierry. The wine is aged in stainless steel vats and benefits from aging for a minimum of 4 years in the cellars of the House. The robe of a beautiful light gold color with sparkling reflections is sprinkled with an effervescence of great finesse. On the nose, this champagne is very delicate with aromas of yellow cherry, mirabelle plum and apricot, reflecting the good maturity of the pinots during the harvest. On the palate, the Brut 2015 offers beautiful vibrations. Its attack is frank and straight and the texture unctuous. The aromas discovered on the nose are enhanced by notes of red fruits and develop into delicious flavors of peach. The finish is long and mineral. This Brut 2015 cuvée from Maison Deutz will go perfectly with fine fish, sushi, sashimi, crab flan, white truffle risotto, or with white meats such as veal with cream. This wine has great promise for laying down.
