Aroma: Notes of ripe red cherries, intense bouquet of cassis, plums combine with distinctive toasty notes from ageing (tobacco, leather), an earthy hint of mushrooms sets the exciting counterpoint, still slightly closed. Body: Long attack, still young on the palate, present aromas marked by ageing. Quality: A complex, multi-layered Pinot Noir in the style of a great Burgundy."
