From 1938 onwards, Louis Rapin invested in vineyards in Montagne and Saint-Émilion (Château La Tour Figeac). In 1961, he bought his neighbor's vineyard in the Pomerol appellation, around which he grouped other parcels and renamed the estate Château La Rose Figeac. In 1972, by succession, Françoise Rapin, his daughter, and Gérard Despagne, his son-in-law, sons of a Saint-Emilion family that had been family for over three centuries (Château Grand Corbin-Despagne) took over part of the vineyards. Nathalie took over the management of Château La Rose Figeac, Pomerol, on August 1, 2013. and equipment of a vinification vat room and an ageing cellar, in 2015 the construction of an air-conditioned storage cellar, and in 2017 that of an office detached from the private space. office to accommodate 4 people and, in 2020, a reception room in his home for 10 people (by appointment). with a constant focus on "organic" thinking, respect for the environment and the lunar calendar.
