Dark chocolate bars, soft chocolate, almond nougat and dry pastries.

Nose

Its scents present warm and alcoholic notes with full, enveloping aromas of caramel, dried fig, fruit preserved in alcohol and elegant touches of almond.

Taste

The taste has notes of soft nougat with almonds, fruit preserved in alcohol and a slightly bitter and woody finish.

Remarks

Everything started in 2004 from one of Teos’ visions: turning one of the typical flaws of beers - oxidation - into a strength. Long years of experimentations and tests culminating in the creation of a unique barley wine: Xyauyù. A peculiar name that comes from the imagination of Wayan, Teo’s second child, and the name of her imaginary daughter: Xyauyù.

Aspect

Xyauyù 2020 has a clear color, reminiscent of a classic “monk’s tunic”, and has no head and no carbonation.
