Nose

The aroma is noticeable as soon as you open the bottle. The rich, sweetish scent reveals malty sweetness, nutty notes, slight roastiness, and the intense aroma of maple syrup.

Taste

The first taste is bittersweet roasted maple syrup, mixed with malty roasted sweetness. In the mid-palate, the syrupy sweetness becomes more prominent, with a hint of tannins, and the aftertaste has a touch of saltiness.

Aspect

Jet black beer with a finger-thick beige head. Swirling the beer creates a dense and long-lasting lace pattern on the glass walls.
