Château Haut-Chaigneau is a judicious blend of Merlot Noir (90%) and Cabernet Franc (10%). The quality of the terroirs cultivated, the balance of the grape varieties and a unique know-how have enabled the Chatonnet family to produce one of the most renowned and award-winning wines of Bordeaux. A traditional culture, a particularly careful vinification and an extremely precise barrel ageing have led to a wine recognised for its finesse and elegance. Château Haut-Chaigneau has become one of the jewels in the crown of the Lalande de Pomerol appellation: a fair return for this wine, which is regularly awarded prizes and medals, both in France and internationally.
