The grapes are only harvested in good years in Comano and vinified according to the famous Bordeaux style. This means a long fermentation process followed by 20 months of maturation in small 225-litre oak barrels. After a few years of bottle ageing, you will discover the grandeur, power and elegance of this great award-winning red wine. Intense ruby red in colour with garnet highlights, the nose reveals an aromatic bouquet of black berries and plums, perfectly complemented by the woodiness of the Barrique. This is followed by notes of sweet spices, caramel, pipe tobacco and fresh mineral notes. On the palate a good fullness and warmth with fine, juicy tannins; an aftertaste with spicy, toasty and balsamic notes. New aromatic properties develop with each sip.
