Nose

Complex aroma of ripe fruit, figs and prunes, honey, caramel, sweet spice, vanilla and toasted wood with hints of rum, whisky and red wine.

Taste

Rich palate of candied fruit, caramel, toffee, honey and dried fruit, layered rum and whisky notes, silky warmth and a long woody, caramelised finish.

Aspect

Very dark amber, almost stout-like, mahogany highlights, clear, fine beige head with low retention, dense, almost liqueur-like texture.
