Nose

Sweet aromas of brown sugar, burnt sugar, chocolate followed with some vanilla, and smoke. Spices of white pepper, licorice/anise and clove with a touch of oak

Taste

Moderate sweet and lightly bitter Porter, with a hint of choclate & smoke. Complexity is added from multiple spirit barrels.

Remarks

Imperial Porter, with smoked malt aged for 12 months in a complex variety of spirit barrels, including bourbon, rye, rum, and cognac.

Aspect

Very dark black/opaque color with a light haze & some dark brown foam.
