Champagne Amour de Deutz 2011 En Etui *

The Amour de Deutz 2011 cuvée is a superb Blanc de Blancs champagne that evokes beautiful fruity notes and the relative youth of the vintage highlights a great potential for evolution and aging. The year 2011 was a year of contrasts, with alternating rain, freshness and high temperatures from the end of May. The key to this year will undoubtedly have been the control of yields, the precision of viticulture, as well as the care taken during the harvest. The 2011 vintage is expressed more in finesse than in power. This exceptional champagne is made solely from Chardonnay from the great terroirs of Avize (50%), Mesnil-sur-Oger (15%), Oger (12%), Villeneuve (11%), Vertus (6% ) and Villers-Marmery (6%). Its aging in vats brings it freshness and liveliness, thus balancing the richness of the grapes. The bottles benefit from a prolonged aging in the cellars of the House, guaranteeing the slow ripening of the aromas as well as the development of the length and the complexity of the wine. This cuvée is adorned with a beautiful crystalline gold color, delicately sprinkled with a subtle bead of foam and a creamy effervescence. The nose reveals a rich and complex intensity, with deep aromas of stone fruits with apricot, peach and William pears, accompanied by lovely notes of freshly cut herbs. On the palate, the attack is lively and ample, then the wine envelops the palate in a velvety lace enhanced by a beautiful aromatic persistence. We find the aromas already felt on the nose, supported by a smooth finish extending on a fine note of fresh butter. L'Amour de Deutz 20101 is an exceptional aperitif champagne and will also go perfectly with caviar, sushi, sashimi, tuna carpaccio, lobster, or any other dish offering complex textures and aromatic components. .
