Coffee, sweet aromatics of molasses, and burnt sugar followed by some toffee. Dried fruit notes of fig and raisins. Spices of black pepper, licorice.
Moderate sweetness, mildly bitter and subtly salty.
Goliat was the first Stout ever brewed by Tore Gynther, the founder of To Øl. For this version, Goliat was aged for 15 months in Cognac barrels.
Very dark black/opaque color with a light haze & a small amount of dark brown foam.
