This is a smoked porter with a high percentage of smoked malt and rye malt in the grist. Our well known Imperial Porter, aged for 15 months in a complex variety of spirit barrels. Including Scotch Whisky, Rye Whisky, Jamaican Rum and Apple Brandy barrels.

Nose

Smoky and reminiscent of scotch, light tobacco, wood notes, very roasty, with chocolate, brown sugar and molasses.

Taste

Mildly sweet with a subtle bitterness.

Aspect

Very dark black/opaque color with a small amount of brown foam.
