The taste has notes of soft nougat with almonds, fruit preserved in alcohol and a slightly bitter and woody finish.
Everything started in 2004 from one of Teos’ visions: turning one of the typical flaws of beers - oxidation - into a strength. Long years of experimentations and tests culminating in the creation of a unique barley wine: Xyauyù. A peculiar name that comes from the imagination of Wayan, Teo’s second child, and the name of her imaginary daughter: Xyauyù.
Xyauyù 2019 has a clear color, reminiscent of a classic “monk’s tunic”, and has no head and no carbonation.
