The Orval is a top fermented trappist Belgian beer.

Orval beer is made with spring water, malted barley, hops and aromatic liquid candy.
It is characterized by its strong bitterness; it is enhanced when aged in the cellar for a few months.
To enhance its flavour, Orval uses dry hopping, which consists in leaving bags of hop cones to macerate for 2-3 weeks.
This is an amber beer with generous foam head.
